Frequently Asked Questions
Can Rare & Exotic Fruit Seeds grow in the USA?
Yes, depending on the species and region. Tropical varieties may require containers, greenhouses, indoor overwintering, or other cold protection outside suitable warm climates.
Will seed-grown exotic fruits match their parent fruit?
Not always. Seed propagation can produce genetic variation, so fruit color, size, flavor, quality, and other characteristics may differ from the parent plant.
Are Rare & Exotic Fruit Seeds difficult to germinate?
Some are straightforward, while others require specific temperatures, fresh seed, soaking, scarification, stratification, or extended germination periods.
How long can exotic fruit plants take to produce fruit?
It depends strongly on the species. Fast-growing vines may mature sooner, while many seed-grown tropical and subtropical trees can require several years before fruiting.
