Yacon is appreciated primarily for its attractive foliage and underground tubers rather than showy blooms. When mature and grown under favorable conditions, plants may develop small yellow flower clusters, creating a cheerful accent among the broad green leaves. Its upright, leafy habit works well in edible landscapes, cottage-style gardens, and natural-looking borders.
