Soil: Use fertile, loose, well-drained soil with good organic matter.

Watering: Keep evenly moist while seedlings establish, allowing excess water to drain freely.

Sowing Depth: Surface sow the tiny seed and press gently into moist seed-starting mix.

Spacing: Space plants about eight to eighteen inches apart depending on mature habit.

Germination: Warm conditions and light commonly support germination in about seven to fourteen days.

Blooming Time: Coleus is grown mainly for foliage; flower spikes may appear during the growing season.

Plant Height: Mature plants range from compact bedding forms to varieties around three feet tall.

Care Tips: Pinch growing tips for branching, protect from frost, and remove flower spikes if foliage display is the priority.
