Growing Instructions

Sunlight: Full sun to bright partial sun supports compact growth and abundant seasonal flowering.

Soil: Use a fine, fertile, well-drained seed-starting mix followed by loose garden soil.

Watering: Keep evenly moist during germination, then water at the soil line when the surface begins to dry.

Sowing Depth: Sow shallowly, generally about one-eighth to one-quarter inch deep depending on seed size.

Spacing: Thin or transplant seedlings about eight to eighteen inches apart, adjusted for mature variety size.

Germination: Warm, steady conditions commonly support germination within about one to three weeks.

Blooming Time: Most annuals flower during the same growing season once plants are well established.

Plant Height: Mature height ranges from compact bedding forms to plants around three feet or taller depending on variety.

Care Tips: Remove faded blooms where useful, maintain airflow, and avoid prolonged waterlogging.
