Growing Instructions

Sunlight: Provide full sun to partial sun according to local climate and the natural preference of the species.

Soil: Use loose, well-drained soil with moderate fertility and good root-zone aeration.

Watering: Maintain even moisture through germination and establishment, then water deeply as the upper soil begins to dry.

Sowing Depth: Sow shallowly, from surface sowing to about one-quarter inch deep depending on seed size.

Spacing: Thin or transplant with roughly twelve to twenty-four inches between plants, adjusted for mature spread.

Germination: Germination often takes two to six weeks; some perennial seed benefits from cool, moist stratification.

Blooming Time: Some perennials bloom in the first season when started early, while others perform best from the second season onward.

Plant Height: Mature height commonly ranges from one to three feet, with variation by species and conditions.

Care Tips: Provide reliable drainage, allow a strong root system to develop, and trim or divide mature growth when appropriate.
