Growing Instructions

Sunlight: Full sun is preferred for sturdy stems and generous flowering.

Soil: Use average, well-drained garden soil; avoid overly rich conditions.

Watering: Keep soil lightly moist through germination, then water when the upper soil begins to dry.

Sowing Depth: Sow shallowly and cover only lightly; very fine seed can be surface sown.

Spacing: Thin seedlings to improve airflow and allow natural branching.

Germination: Germination commonly occurs over one to four weeks, though some perennial species may take longer.

Blooming/Harvest Time: Blooming follows seasonal establishment, often from late spring into summer.

Plant Height: Usually medium height, with exact size depending on species and site.

Care Tips: Deadhead for a tidier display or leave some seed heads for natural reseeding.
