Growing Instructions

Sunlight: Full sun to partial sun is suitable, with climate-specific protection from extreme heat.

Soil: Use fertile, well-drained soil with moderate organic matter.

Watering: Maintain even moisture while seedlings establish, then water deeply as needed.

Sowing Depth: Sow shallowly and cover lightly; some perennial seeds benefit from a cool stratification period.

Spacing: Transplant with enough room for mature clumps and good air circulation.

Germination: Perennial seed germination can be slower or uneven and may take several weeks.

Blooming/Harvest Time: Many seed-grown perennials flower most strongly after establishing beyond the first season.

Plant Height: Mature height varies from low edging plants to tall border forms.

Care Tips: Allow seedlings time to build roots; divide or thin mature clumps when overcrowded.
